Magnitude Engineering Acquires Additional CNC Equipment

Magnitude Engineering is pleased to announce the latest addition to its growing machine shop.  The company located in Oregon, Wisconsin which offers a wide rage of manufacturing, engineering, and consulting services - from prototyping, short-run production, and detailed design to project management and systems engineering recently acquired a Haas TM-1 CNC tool room mill.

The new mill expands Magnitude Engineering's existing machining and fabrication capabilities including 3-axis CNC milling, 2-axis CNC turning, and AC/DC TIG welding.  "The addition of this equipment will help us manufacture larger and more complex components while holding tighter tolerances," notes principal engineer Brian Pechan.  "2010 has been a very successful year and we felt the time was right to invest in equipment that will allow us to better serve our customers' needs."

The Haas TM-1 features 30" of X travel, 12" of Y travel, 16" of Z travel, a 10.5" by 47.75" table, a 7.5 horsepower spindle, and repeatability of 0.0002".  Full specifications can be found at www.haascnc.com.
